As seen in the Sept. Oct Issue of "Quilting Quickly", Pam will be teaching her cover quilt called Checkerboard Shuffle.  Start with pre-cut 2 1/2" strips along with an accent fabric and background.  Add borders to make a quick bed-sized quilt.



Mariner's Compass:  Wed. Oct. 14 or Sat. Oct. 17 



Back by popular request!  Learn to make the traditional Mariner's Compass.  You may choose to make the center medallion on the left - the compass measures 3" across for a great Mini version or, Make the 18" version on the right.  We will draft a compass and will assemble one using  freezer paper foundation techniques.


Basic Binding Class: 

Sat. Morning  Nov. 7 or    Thur.  Afternoon  Nov. 12  

2 1/2 - HOURS          

This  Class will give you confidence in cutting, applying and stitching down basic binding strips so that you can finish your projects.  Bring a small quilted project and your fabric for binding and we will help you through the process.

Fat Quarter Friendly!

This high - contrast quilt is one of the great new designs from Michelle Hiatt and Studio 180 Design's new Modern 180 Line.  The Corner Beam™ blocks used throughout the design give you an alternating diamond illusion that simply radiates beauty.  Use a medley of bright fat quarters or scraps of bright fabrics to make this dynamite scrappy project!


Garden Dance:   Fri. Oct. 23 or Sat. Nov. 14



Garden Dance is a pattern collaboration of Deb Tucker and Marie Bostwick.  Choose a focus fabric, gather some coordinating prints and have fun making Garden Dance.  This quilt consists of a medallion for the center that includes  applique (or you can choose to insert a beautiful large scale print into the oval center like we did - watch for a photo of our version coming soon).  The add rounds of pieced borders to make a snazzy finish.  We will use the Tucker Trimmer and Square² tools for the pieced borders. 


Equinox:   Fri. Oct. 16 or Sat. Dec. 5

The Equinox quilt is perfect for a set of 2 1/2" strips.  The stars in each block, as well as the segments  surrounding the star are constructed using 2 1/2" strips.  Choose from one of 6 different sizes and we will guide you through the steps to make your own beautiful Equinox!


Sunset Table Topper:   Thur. Nov. 19 or Sat. Dec. 12



This simple topper makes a great addition to your table.  Make it in Holiday fabrics or match your dining room decor.  Because they are quick and easy it makes these table toppers  perfect for the coming gift giving season! 


Smooth Sailing - (Storm at Sea):   Fri. Nov. 6

We have been having a great time at our monthly 30’s club.  

Learning about the history of quilt-making in the 1930’s is one of our key goals.  We meet on the second Tue. of each month at 6:00p.m.
