Twisted Pipes:    Tue. Oct. 28

Great for BEGINNERS!

This great project features high contrast to add pizzazz!  Join us in learning the tricks to make your own Twisted Pipes quilt.  This is a great project for beginners but fun for those more experienced as well.

This cute quilt measures 24" x 30"  The stars are 3" blocks alternating with the chain blocks. It's lots of fun to make using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool - NO "Y" seams.

If you would rather make a larger quilt - no problem,  You can make a bed-sized quilt using the same tool.

Mini Tiny Dancer:  Thur. Sept. 11 or Sat. Sept. 27

New from Jaybird Quilts - this quilt is made with the new Mini Hex & More tool.

Triangle Frenzy Runner Thur. Oct. 30 or Sat. Nov. 15

Use your favorite border print and a 60° ruler to make the large triangles that make up this elegant table runner.  Match the border print to your decor or make a holiday runner. Perfect for gift giving or treat yourself!

Wrapped Coaster:  Fri. Oct. 24 or Sat. Nov. 8

Super Simple!  You will be amazed how quickly you can make the Star coaster.  You can also expand the project to make a trivet or even pie plate holder.   We will have a kit available for a pair of coasters that you will make in class.

Milky Way:  -   Sat. Oct. 11

Fun - Spikey pinwheels made using the NEW Scrap Crazy 6 templates from Creative Grids.  Although the finished quilt appears to have rectangles of background fabric, the entire quilt is made with triangles!  The picture on the left is the version from the book and the one on the right is my work-in-progress.  Loads of fun to make!

Fat Quarter Fiesta:  -   Sat. Oct. 18 or Wed. Oct. 22

Perfect for BEGINNERS!

 Picture coming Soon

With no triangle and easy strip piecing this design works up fast and easy and uses those fat quarters you have been collecting.  Perfect for beginners but fun for those who are more experienced as well.

Trim the Tree (Curvy Log Cabin):  -   Sat. Sept. 13

Make this fun Christmas Tree quilt using the New Curvy Log Cabin trim tool!  Easily add the illusion of curves with this great tool.

The corners can be made with the curvy or the regular Log Cabin trim tool (like the one in the picture).

NOTE:  If you would rather make the Carousel quilt you can make it in the same class.  The process of making the curvy log cabin is the same for either quilt.

Feathered Star:  -  Sat. Oct. 25

Marsha McCloskey's Feathered Star ruler and her step-by-step book make piecing this traditionally difficult block MUCH easier!  Sharon will walk you through the process.  The block you will be making is the one shown to the right of the picture of the book.  Sharon will also give you hints about the process for making the other blocks shown on the cover.

Supernova— Thur. Sept. 25

Made with the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool, this would make a great small quilt or a medallion for a great bed quilt.  The small diamonds add pizzazz to the center Blazing Star!
