It's Official!  After several years of working with Deb Tucker and her tools, I finally was able to attend a week of intensive training with her (and the whole Studio 180 team) and can now say that I am one of the new Studio 180 Design Certified Instructors (CI's)  Here we are hard at work on one of the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Variations.   (Deb is behind me in the striped shirt).  It was a fun week even though a LONG trip (I clocked 2235 miles).  Met some amazing people.  I've got lots of new things to share with you the next time you are in one of my classes!

Cleopatra's Fan

Gentile curves in this fan make learning curved piecing much less intimidating. This beautiful block makes a great wall quilt or table topper with just 4 blocks, or put a bunch together to make a stunning bed quilt. There are many layout possibilities for the perfect traditional look or if you are more into the modern quilting look, fabric selection will turn this into a snazzy modern project. This is not "Fast and Furious" quilting but the time to make the blocks will increase your piecing skills.
