This Sampler is the perfect project for building your piecing skills. It is designed for any BEGINNER wanting to learn to quilt. We will begin with basic Rotary Cutting, Piecing and Pressing to achieve precision. Then we will be constructing basic common piecing units with the best current quilting tools. This 6 - Month series is a Start-to-Finish top and I will guide you through the process in making all the blocks and assembling them.

You just HAVE to give these Twirly blocks a Whirl! These Twirly Whirly blocks are made with segments of Lemoyne Stars for precise diamonds - with NO "Y" seams, NO templates, and NO paper piecing. We will be using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool to make the units needed for this Twirly quilt. There are several variations of blocks that could be made using these Lemoyne units and we will explore all the possibilities in class.

It's here! Deb Tucker's newest tool - Wedge Star. This free pattern is included with the instructions that come with the tool and it's a great way to learn all the basic units made with this versatile tool! The tool is used to make basic wedge blocks as well as wedges with a star in them. Of course as always with Deb's tools, you will trim strategically through the process to achieve precision.
