Oops!  It seems no matter how often we check and re-check a pattern, there is often a mistake or two.  Here are revisions for any pattern that slipped by.  If you find an issue with one of our patterns please contact us so that we can take care of it.


Smooth Sailing –

Page 1:

Under Assorted Light fabrics,

On the line 40 (160) - These should be 4 ¼” squares not 4 ½”

On the line where it says 14 (32) 2 1/4" squares, it should read 28 (64) 2 1/4" squares, and they should not be cut in half diagonally.

Under Accent Color, the 4 (4) squares should be cut 3 1/2", not 3 1/4".

The outer border sizes for the Queen size quilt were not listed. It should be 10 – 5 ½” strips for Queen Size

Page 2:

Under Simple Diamond Square Unit,

The line 24 (126) – 2 ¾” light squares cut once to make 48 should also include (252) triangles

Page 3:

Under Double Diamond Square Unit,

After cutting the 20 (80) and the 40 (160) squares you should yield 80 (320) triangles on both lines

Under the Side Units,

You need 28 (64) – 2 14” squares light rather than 28 (32)

Page 6:

The outer border strips for the Throw size should be cut 4” and the Queen size should be cut 5 ½” – then pieced together and trimmed to the proper length.

Page 1 Cutting instructions the Background should be:
Background #5 (BKGD) (cream)

1—7 1/2” Strip x WOF   

1—5 1/2” Strip x WOF

(Use these 2 strips to cut the squares shown below—cut the largest squares first.)

                Sub-cut:  4—7 1/2” squares - then cut diagonally to make 8 large triangles

                                4—5 1/2” squares - then cut diagonally to make 8 smaller triangles

                                4 - 4 1/4”   Squares - then cut diagonally to make the large triangles.

                                8 -  3 1/4”   Squares - then cut diagonally to make the smaller triangles

1—3 1/2” Strip x WOF

Sub-cut:  4—3 1/2” x 10 1/2” rectangles

6 - 1 3/4” Strips x WOF
